It’s officially 2018! Now is the time to get to work! Start applying and planning to attend all those key music industry events that will accelerate your music career throughout the new year. If you want to boost your success this year you need to take part in events where you can network, explore new possibilities and showcase your talent with like minded people. Here is a handful of exciting music industry events coming up in the next twelve months that every independent musician should check out.

SXSW

March 9th-18th
Austin, Texas

SXSW is probably the most well known music event in the world and it is one of the best places to network. Though it is too late to apply to ‘officially’ perform you can always go and find a place to play yourself, even in the hotel lobby, crowds of music industry people are everywhere.
