With offices in Zürich and Berlin, it offers over 100k musicians worldwide everything they need to sell, manage and monetise their music online. Within days of uploading their music, they can be selling their music in hundreds of platforms like iTunes, Spotify or Beatport; monetising their music on YouTube; or administering their publishing and neighbouring rights. iMusician looks after all of this so our customers can do what they do best: make music!

Berlin

Business Intelligence Manager (Berlin)

Your mission
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager with a technical flair to join our marketing department in Berlin. Though you will report directly to the CTO in Zürich, you will be working as part of the company’s marketing team to ensure all marketing needs are satisfied.

At iMusician, we rely on data to drive our business decisions and to guide our marketing strategy. As BI Manager, you will take responsibility for all business analytics of our marketing office, meaning e.g.:

  • Managing, setting-up, controlling and optimizing all data tracking of our platform, from visits to E-commerce transactions (eg: Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook).
  • Writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
  • Creating the dashboards and the reports needed by the team.

With a strong affinity for numbers and marketing, you will be able to work closely with the different members of the team to analyse data and guide business decisions and strategy.

Furthermore, as the first and lead « technical » member of this rapidly growing office, the position demands far more than the title implies. You will overlook all tech needs either directly or indirectly (delegating or outsourcing) until these tasks can be taken over by new members. Such tasks include:

  • Other marketing tasks such as testing or CRO.
  • Managing the webmaster.

It can be seen that the right candidate will then build the tech team around him/herself as the team grows and evolves.

iMusician has a flexible 32 – 40 hour week policy (80% – 100%) for all its employees.

Experience

  • 2-5+ years experience in Business Intelligence and E-Commerce SQL queries [Experienced]
  • Implementation and debugging of E-commerce tracking such as GA, Facebook, Adwords, Mixpanel etc. [Competent]
  • Experience with MVC as well as Web API/Web App thinking [Competent]
  • Understanding of business and marketing KPIs and metrics [Competent]
  • Capable of integrating third party platforms [Competent]

Office & Feel Good Manager (Berlin)

What do we offer?

iMusician has an exciting job opportunity for an Office & Feel Good Manager.
You will be part of our team in Berlin Kreuzberg. This is a flexible part-time position (40-60%) but you will be the first office manager and we don’t have a HR manager yet so there is an opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Your mission

Based in our Berlin office, we are looking for a « Feel Good Manager » combined with an « Office manager » who is responsible for the satisfaction of the employees of the Berlin office as well as managing all its office needs. The right candidate will have native-level German skills and will be fluent in English, ideally with experience in a similar position, but if you recognise yourself in this description, feel free to apply.

S/he will be a team oriented person who takes a proactive approach to his/her work, and improve the office environment in ways that no one else can, as well as identifying and fixing problems before anyone else sees them. S/he stimulates employee motivation and constantly seeks to facilitate the successful cooperation and evolution of the team and individuals. The candidate will also have excellent general knowledge of how things work in Berlin/Germany. S/he will understand how and where things are sourced, be able to identify and negotiate the ideal office rental, internet contracts, and in general, have an unerring ability to find solutions.

The position includes, amongst other things:

  • Supporting the team with office supplies, fresh fruits and ensuring the wellbeing of the staff by cultivating the best work environment possible
  • Organising inhouse events or trainings
  • Organising the team travels (transport and accommodation)
  • Managing all of the offices administration needs from negotiating contracts to managing cleaners to sourcing equipment and supplies (German native level is a must!)
  • Supporting HR administration (holidays, sick leaves, team calendar, help with the recruitment process and the onboarding of new team members)

Requirements

  • Native German-level & fluent in English (excellent written and verbal skills)

Product Manager/UX designer (Berlin)

Your mission
iMusician has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious PM/UX Designer for its team in Berlin. As the first inhouse designer, initially, your responsibilities will be broad. You will be called to work closely with the dev team on new products; with the customer support team to improve usability; and the marketing team on CRO. It’s a lot of hats for one person, and the right candidate will need to exhibit a flair for management and the ability to delegate to keep up with his/her workload. The company is expected to double within the next 2 years.

As with all other iMusician employees, we are looking for people who cherish a healthy work-life balance and can take advantage of our flexi 80% – 100% policy. That means you will be free to work 80% when the job allows, but expected to go all-in when the job demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Product development: Working with the tech team on new products. Responsibilities range from requirements engineering to design to testing.
  • UX Design: Working with customer support to identify and optimise usability. Issues may range from optimising text and/or visual communication, to improving functions.
  • CRO: Working with the marketing team to analyse the customer sales journey and CRO.
  • CDCI: Take over the management and implementation of the CDCI.
  • Visual design: Manage or create new graphic assets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Min 3 – 5 years in a related field with management experience.
  • Qualification: Not as important as your attitude, work portfolio, and a track record of success. You should have well formed ideas about the customer journey and usability.
  • Personality: Confident of your abilities, you are someone who has no problem taking the lead in a project. You are organised and embody the « can do » spirit.
  • Positive attitude, team player and always eager to learn more
  • Artistic eye for design.
  • Frontend development skills (HTML, CSS)
  • PhP, Javascript, ES6 competent (a bonus)
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment.
